Cecilia “Cecy” Plaza
Owner, Director and Lead Teacher of Tiny Footprints, as well as mother of three beautiful children ages 12, 9 and 5.
“Cecy” has always loved children but having hers is what pushed her to open her own childcare. She has over 17 years of experience in the childcare field. She obtained her Associate Teacher’s Permit and her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Cecy is passionate about her role in teaching the future generations about empathy, community values and diversity: her energy is contagious, and her students thrive in the safe and loving environment that she has created. “I like to think that Tiny Footprints is each child’s home away from home. We are part of their families as well as they are part of mine. We treat each other with respect, and we value each other’s opinions: this is a safe, loving and caring place for everyone.”
Olivia Piedra
After working with children since she was 15 years old as a nanny, Olivia found her passion when she moved to the United States: she has worked with many families and had the pleasure to watch many children grow up in her care. “Working with children has always been beautiful for me, as well as raising my own children who are now all grown up. Since now they are older, I have more time to dedicate to younger children and I chose to work in a daycare, because there is nothing I love to do more than spend time with them. I appreciate the opportunity Tiny Footprints has given me and look forward to a wonderful future with all of our children here.” Olivia has been with Tiny Footprints since 2015 and looks forward to staying with us for many more years.
Consuelo Ramirez Hernandez
Born and raised in Mexico, Consuelo has recently joined the Tiny Footprints family after working for many years in the care sector. She is the proud mother of grown children (and proud grandma as well) and after having dedicated all of her time to them as they grew up, she found herself longing for the laughter of the little ones: she is the most recent addition to our Tiny Footprints family, and she is extremely excited for the opportunity.
Deborah “Deby” Aguero
“Deby” is Cecilia’s mother and proud grandmother of 4 grandkids. She volunteers at Tiny Footprints during her spare time because she has always loved to be teach to children. She has always been a positive influence in the lives of the young ones, and she keeps inspiring the young generations with her life stories and holistic views. “I enjoy being around children and watching them grow because they are always teaching me wonderful lessons about life.”
Our staff speaks English, Spanish and Italian. Students are also taught children’s baby sign language.
